Top 10 Dust 2 callouts in CS2
Top 10 Most Common Dust 2 Call outs Every Player Should Know
Dust 2 is one of the most iconic maps in Counter-Strike, known for its balanced layout and fast-paced gameplay. Whether you're new to CS or a seasoned veteran, knowing call outs is essential for good team communication.
1. Ninja
Located in the A bombsite, “Ninja” is a hidden spot near the back corner behind the tall box. Players often use it to surprise opponents trying to plant or retake the site. It's a classic place to catch someone off guard during a post-plant.
2. Goose
Goose is the corner spot on A site, against the wall near the ramp from short (Cat). It gets its name from the graffiti of a goose that used to be on the wall. A great place for AWPers or riflers holding short pushes.
3. Cat (Short)
Catwalk, or “Cat,” connects mid to the A site via short A. It's a high-traffic area used for fast A pushes. Controlling Cat can often mean controlling the pace of the round.
4. Suicide
This is the open area between T spawn and mid. Players often rush across to peek mid or go Xbox. It’s called “Suicide” because crossing it can be deadly due to AWPers watching from mid doors.
5. Container
Found in T spawn, “Container” refers to the big red crate where players often set up before taking control of long or B tunnels. It's useful for holding early aggression or buying time.
6. Xbox
This is the box in mid that lets players jump from lower tunnels to Cat. A key point for fast rotations or split A takes.
7. Close (B Tunnel Left Side)
This call out refers to the left corner right as you exit upper B tunnels. CT's sometimes play here with shotguns or SMGs to catch Ts off guard.
8. Fence
Fence is in B site, directly to the right as you enter from tunnels. It provides decent cover and is commonly used during site holds.
9. Dark (Back Site)
“Dark” usually means back B site, especially the corner near the car or platform. It’s a strong post-plant or defensive position.
10. Scaffolding
Scaffolding is outside B window on the CT side. It's often used by defenders rotating through CT spawn or jumping into site.
Mastering these call outs will instantly boost your team play and map control. Communication is key, so make these names second nature. Follow @CSBUMPS on Twitter for more CS2 content and tips!
