The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is set to be one of the most iconic events in Counter-Strike 2 history. From June 2nd 23rd, 32 top teams will compete at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, for a share of a $1.25 million prize pool. As the first CS2 Major held in North America since 2018, it marks a historic return that excites both new fans and longtime CS2 followers.

Teams and players

The Major features a diverse lineup of 32 teams, including:

Stage 1 Entrants: Emerging squads like Complexity Gaming, OG, Imperial Esports, and NRG Esports. A total of 46 players will make their Major debut, including the full rosters of Chingiss Warriors and B8.

Stage 2 Challengers: Notable teams such as FaZe Clan, now featuring s1mple on loan from NAVI, Virtus.pro, Falcons,and MIBR.

Stage 3 Contenders: Top-tier teams including Natus Vincere (NAVI), Team Vitality, MOUZ, Team Spirit, Aurora, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, and The MongolZ.

 Major Schedule

Stage 1 (June 3–5): 16 teams vie for advancement.

Stage 2 (June 7–10): Another set of 16 teams enter the spotlight.

Stage 3 (June 12–15): Top teams battle for playoff spots.

Playoffs (June 19–22): Single-elimination matches determine the 2025 major champion.
